Welcome to the Hold the Toast Recipe Exchange List!
This is the place to post your favorite low carb recipes, to ask if others have a recipe of the sort you're looking for, to discuss menu plans, inquire about low carb ingredients, and all other stuff pertaining to low carb cooking and menu planning. Please be aware, up front, that recipes that are posted to this list, while of course being available for free to everyone who subscribes to the list, become the legal property of Hold the Toast Press - we're hoping to eventually collect and publish our reader's best recipes.
Which leads to a very important point: DO NOT POST COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL TO THE GROUP. In other words, don't post recipes from your favorite cookbook, low carb or otherwise, no matter how much you think your fellow posters will like them. It's illegal, and if we find you doing it, we reserve the right to boot you off the list. That includes my new cookbook, by the way, since I don't own the copyright on it - my publisher does.
Be aware, however, that if you started with a published recipe and then changed it - by using artificial sweeteners instead of sugar, using spaghetti squash instead of pasta, or any other change you might have made - it is now legally your recipe, and you may post it.
To get the ball rolling, why don't you post to the list right away - either with your favorite easy meal idea, your best holiday treat, or your most pressing low carb cooking question.
